In 1976, Wachid Hendriadi, a graduate in Chemical Engineering, saw an opportunity to develop and improve the Laboratory Research and Development market in Indonesia. Armed with his background knowledge and careful studies of the market, he started a company, PT Dian Nusantara Murni (Dianum), which traded and sold chemicals and laboratory equipment’s to satisfy the emerging demand. The company was started based on the founder’s background and his interest in improving and developing the R&D market in Indonesia.
